15 Feb, 2012 03:00 AM

A Kilsyth building company has been given six years to pay a $60,000 fine after a worker became a paraplegic following a four-metre fall.

A 27-year-old Warranwood man fell off the timber framing of a house in Keysborough in June 2010.

Mayneline Pty Ltd pleaded guilty to one charge laid under the Occupational Health and Safety Act. The company was convicted, fined and also ordered to pay court costs.
