Rowville Baptist Church will host a service to not only commemorate Black Saturday but also bring new hope for the year ahead. The service will be led by Reverend David Devine, with emergency services workers, including Rowville CFA captain John Farrer, in attendance. Mr Devine said part of the role of the church was to give the community space and time to acknowledge past events and to also look to the future. The service starts 10am on February 7 at Le John Street, Rowville. Picture: Wayne Hawkins
