Knox councillor Andrew Walter, pictured with Jack, Malcolm and Sam, welcomed new pedestrian lights on Ferntree Gully Road, near Kathryn Road, last Thursday. Cr Walter said the lights would improve pedestrian safety, particularly for children visiting the Knox skate and BMX park at Gilbert Park. "It's been a long time coming but it's great to deliver this key upgrade for our community." The lights cost $230,000 and were funded and constructed by Knox Council.
