Youths nabbed

Two youths in a stolen vehicle were apprehended after they attempted to avoid a police operation in Bayswater last week. Boronia police led Operation False Plate on Mountain Highway last Thursday, with the Knox traffic management unit, Victorian Taxi Directorate, Environment Protection Authority and the Sheriff's Office also on hand. A 17-year-old Box Hill woman and a 21-year-old Thomastown man were arrested following a short pursuit, after they attempted to avoid a booze bus. They will appear in court next month.
