KNOX Raiders star CJ Massingale's outstanding season has been capped by selection in the All South East Australian Basketball League east conference men's team.
Massingale is widely regarded as the premier player in the competition and his lion-hearted performance against Kilsyth in a cut-throat final last month showed his talents.
The powerful forward, with three leading scorer titles and two east conference most valuable player awards, has built up an impressive resume.
Bendigo's Ivan McFarlin and he are the two favourites for the most valuable player award.
McFarlin was also named in the line-up along with Bendigo teammate Luke Meyer, Ash Cannan (Brisbane) and Fernandez Lockett (Kilsyth).
Meanwhile, Knox forward Amy Denson has been named in the All SEABL women's team for the first time. Denson built on her promising performance in 2009 to become one of the premier players in the competition.
Her shooting skills have her as one of the best attacking players in the competition. Able to shoot the turn-around jump shot with deadly accuracy, she stretched opposition defences to breaking point.
Her shooting skills perfectly complement her inside ability; she had over 120 rebounds more than the next best rebounder on her team.
Furthermore, Denson had great hands, leading her team in goal assists - an ideal choice at the first forward position. She also led assists for her team.
Other players named in the women's outfit were Sharin Milner (Launceston), Deanna Smith (Kilsyth), Rachel Jarry (Ballarat) and Liz Camage (Launceston).
