Rain puts a damper on Bayswater's final match

10 Mar, 2010 04:00 AM
BAYSWATER had to be content with a draw in its last game of the season on Saturday due to rain, despite posting a competitive total against Endeavour Hills in the Victorian Sub District Cricket Association.

Bayswater made 8-200 in its innings, with Dean Connell top-scoring with 73.

For Endeavour Hills, Shane Peake, Lachlan McIver and Matthew Aslett took two wickets each.

The weekend's heavy rain ended hopes of a Bayswater win, with Endeavour Hills not able to bat.

Bayswater finished the season in 13th place on the VSDCA north-east first XI ladder.
