Slender chance for Bayswater

24 Feb, 2010 03:00 AM
A BOWLING fightback has Bayswater still in with a chance in its Victorian Sub District Cricket Association match with Kew Cricket Club.

Bayswater was bowled out for just 121. Kew captain Francis Gill was the best of the bowlers with 4-29 and Sam McTaggart took 2-43.

But a win is not entirely out of the question for Bayswater.

Kew is struggling at 4-41, with Ben Jackson and Phillip Milne each taking two wickets. Play will resume at Bayswater Oval from 1pm on Saturday.
