WANDIN has snatched second position on the Yarra Valley Mountain District Netball League division 1 ladder with a seven-goal victory over Upwey Tecoma.
In a close encounter, with the teams very even in all positions, it was Wandin's superior goal-shooting that won the day 52-45.

In division 2, Emerald travelled to Yarra Junction for the elimination final and was far too good, winning 73-21, meaning a meeting with Seville this week.
In the qualifying final, Seville met Yea for the second time in recent weeks, Yea turning the tables with a 54-28 win. Yea's goalers shot more accurately this time.
Yea will meet the reigning premier, Powelltown, and Seville will face the well-performing Emerald.
