Protective services officers were last night deployed to Ferntree Gull railway station for the first time. The announcement follows recent calls for PSOs at the station from Ferntree Gully MP Nick Wakeling at a recent sitting of Parliament. They will operate at the station every day from 6pm until the last train. There are now 259 PSOs deployed at 32 stations across the rail network.
