A woman who allegedly attempted to flee the scene of a collision in Bayswater North that left a man dead has been ordered to stand trial at the County Court. It is alleged Leeann Gomez was heading city-bound along Canterbury Road in Bayswater North when she tried to turn right into Greenhill Road and hit a car driven by a 35-year-old Croydon man who died on the way to hospital. She will appear in the County Court on May 3 charged with culpable driving.
