A man using an angle grinder is believed responsible for a grass fire in Ferntree Gully last Thursday. The man was renovating his property in The Avenue when sparks from the appliance landed on adjacent dry grass. Two CFA crews were called to extinguish the fire which burnt about 50 square metres of grass.
