Elderly women visiting at Knox shopping centre have been warned to keep an eye on their handbags. Senior Sergeant John Hess of Knox police said a spate of wallet thefts from handbags occurred over the past week, despite the arrest of one alleged offender. He said thieves most often targeted elderly women who were shopping for groceries or having coffee.
