Police are appealing for witnesses to a scrub fire in Ferntree Gully last Thursday night. The fire burned three square metres of grass near Fairpark Reserve in Manuka Drive and is believed to have been deliberately lit using a cigarette lighter. Anyone who saw any young males around the area is asked to call Knox crime investigation unit on 9881 7000.
