A rockin' good time at St Judes

ST Jude's Primary School pupils were getting ready last week to rock'n'roll at their school concert held earlier this week.

The concert had a particularly special meaning this year because the Scoresby school is celebrating its 40th anniversary.

Principal Rod Peterson said the four decades of the school and church's history were celebrated through music, dance and costume.

More than 300 pupils took part in the performances on Monday and yesterday and Mr Peterson said they had been "outstanding".

The pupils rehearsed regularly for eight weeks and he said they were very excited to show their hard work to their parents and teachers.
