Bakery employee poisoned

A 43-year-old bakery worker died in Ferntree Gully on Sunday morning from carbon monoxide poisoning and a 23 year old was taken to Maroondah Hospital in a serious condition.

Knox CIU's Detective Senior Sergeant Neil White said they were found at the Alpine Street bakery by friends and family about 6.30am. It's believed the carbon monoxide came from a petrol generator the business was using during a scheduled power outage.
