A spate of armed robberies in Knox are believed to be connected.
Detective Senior Sergeant Neil White of Knox crime investigation unit said the thefts were likely to have been committed by the same people as they were all at service stations and similar weapons were used — either a hatchet or an axe.
The robberies occurred in Wellington Road, Rowville, on August 24, Stud Road, Rowville, on August 28, and High Street and Cathies Lane, Wantirna South, on August 29.
