Glenfern vote praised

Congratulations to Mayor Adam Gill and for the courageous vote against subdividing the Glenfern Road green wedge.

This land is preserving our natural flora and fauna, giving our wildlife somewhere to live and helping make Knox a good place in which to live; it is not land doing nothing for the environment or the community.

It is very important to keep green wedges. Why aren’t they being turned into a much needed national parks instead of allowing greedy investors to get their hands on the wedges to make a quick dollar.

Congratulations again to the councillors who stopped the subdivision. Let us hope that VCAT doesn’t overturn the decision, as it usually does.
