KNOX Council's youth services co-ordinator Tony Justice says the new headspace site at Knox Ozone will make a huge difference for youth in Knox.
Mr Justice said the council would be working quite closely with the new centre, and was considering combining the Knox Youth Services centre with the headspace site.
Mr Justice believes the availability of services at the youth mental health hub are very important for outer eastern suburbs residents. "There are a lot of people with complex issues, definitely more than in the past."
The headspace centre is expected to open later this year.
