Boys aged 16 and 14 were arrested after a pursuit through Bayswater on Tuesday morning that left two police vehicles damaged.
A police canine unit spotted a car being driven erratically along Glen Park Road, Bayswater, about 2am and followed it. The vehicle, which had been stolen, did a U-turn and collided with the police vehicle, causing minor damage.
The pursuit continued along Centre Road and ended when the car hit a tree in the centre median strip in Blanche Drive. It then reversed, hitting a police divisional van.
