Train passengers in Knox are no longer able to purchase Metcard tickets from staffed stations after the installation of myki ticket terminals. Upper Ferntree Gully, Ferntree Gully and Boronia stations became myki-only zones from this week and Bayswater will follow next week. To prepare for the transition, ticket offices will close at 5pm the previous day, so passengers should buy and top up a myki in advance to enable travel with a valid ticket.
