All I want for Christmas is an integration aide for my 10-year-old autistic son who attends Boronia West Primary School and struggles with his school work. Under the Education Department guidelines, my son does not qualify for an aide — they tell me there is no money for my son. However, there appears to be money to send three teachers from the school on a two-week study trip to China next month. This makes me wonder on what basis does the school decide to spend taxpayers money.
