A BORONIA man will head to Sydney this weekend to watch the NRL Grand Final after winning more than $300,ooo in a recent Tattslotto draw.
The 49-year-old man was a mystery winner for more than a week after he forgot to check his ticket.
He was purchasing tickets for this week’s draw at a newsagent when he checked his old tickets.
‘‘I can’t believe that I am the missing winner who Tatts has been trying to find,’’ he said.
The man and his family had been wanting to travel to Sydney to support the Melbourne Storm in the final, but were unable to afford it.
They’ll now be heading north, and plan to pay off their mortgage, as well as treating the family to new cars and a holiday.
The lucky winner says he hopes Melbourne Storm have a win like him.
