School holidays are here and while the spring weather can make it tricky to set firm plans to entertain the children, there's plenty to do in and around Knox.
Libraries in Ferntree Gully, Rowville, Wantirna South and Boronia will play host to a variety of activities, including craft lessons, storytime and dress-up days.
One event children will love is Oz Zoo at Boronia library on Friday next week when they can get up close and personal with wild animals.
For something educational, Knox Council will open the doors to the historic Stamford Park Homestead this Friday and Saturday for children to explore artefacts at the site.
There will be guided tours each day and the Stamford Park Men's Shed will put on a sausage sizzle.
Knox City shopping centre also has activities every day of the holidays, including footy fun this week and a Disney Cars special next week.
