Almost 100 jobs in Bayswater and Clayton have been saved after PFD Food Services bought Australian Convenience Foods which went into administration on August 28.
PFD assumed control of all ACF facilities across Australia last Saturday and offered positions to the majority of ACF's employees. PFD executive chairman Richard Smith said the convenience food market was a fast growing sector in Australia. ‘‘The acquisition provides us with considerable opportunities to deliver mutual benefit to both businesses, their employees, customers and suppliers.”
