Boronia black spot to get traffic lights

Work will soon begin to fix the notorious intersection of Boronia Road and Tormore Road and Narcissus Avenue in Boronia.

The state government committed $1.3 million after numerous calls from the community for safety improvements. Right-turn lanes from Boronia Road into Tormore Road and Boronia Road into Narcissus Avenue will all have full signals and will be lengthened to allow more cars to wait to turn without disrupting the flow of traffic.

Works are expected to begin mid-October and be completed by February.
