Bike riders could play an integral part in pedalling votes for Knox election candidates, says advocacy group Bicycle Network Victoria. The network is encouraging candidates to recognise the growing population of bike riders and the votes they represent by pledging their support for better facilities across the municipality. As part of its push, the organisation has launched Votebike, an online system that allows candidates to present their policies to bike riders in the electoral area.
