Bush search for murdered Wantirna South grandmother

POLICE made a line search in Panton Hill earlier this week after the murder of Wantirna South grandmother Brenda Goudge.

The 61-year-old's body was found in her backyard on July 8 last year, but the case has baffled police with no obvious suspects or motive.

Police and SES personnel searched the vicinity of Howards Road and Blue House Road, Panton Hill, for clothing and other personal items that may have been dumped.

Detective Inspector John Potter of the homicide squad urged anyone who frequented the area, particularly dog walkers and council workers, and had found any clothing or personal belongings in this area since July 2011, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit crimestoppers.com.au
