NINE people, including two members of outlaw motorcycle gang The Immortals, were arrested for a range of offences during drugs raids in the outer-east last night.
Properties in Ferntree Gully, Bayswater, Croydon and Vermont were raided by the Croydon divisional tasking unit and Echo Task Force shortly after 8pm.
Police recovered what they described as a significant quantity of drugs, suspected stolen property and cash.
All nine people were charged with a range of offences including trafficking amphetamines, possessing and using a drug of dependence, possessing proceeds of crime and theft related offences.
They were bailed to appear at the Ringwood Magistrates Court in December.
Croydon divisional tasking unit’s officer in charge Senior Sergeant Jim Sutherland said the unit had an ongoing focus on drug-related crime in the area.
