Shop incident leads to Rowville raid

POLICE were yesterday (Tuesday) still sifting through piles of allegedly stolen goods recovered from a Rowville house, pictured, on Monday.

Dozens of boxes of material were removed from the house and stacked in the driveway during an all-day raid by undercover officers.

Narre Warren police said they had executed a search warrant at the Waradgery Drive property after a person was detained for questioning over an alleged shoplifting incident at Fountain Gate shopping centre on Sunday afternoon.

Police arrived at the house on Monday morning and were still loading boxes for removal in late afternoon. It is understood material removed from the home included clothing, hangers and mannequins. Pictures: Lucy Di Paolo
