A MAN killed in a plane crash near Bendigo yesterday was a 77-year-old from Mt Evelyn.
A 65-year-old Olinda man and 75-year-old Boronia man were also seriously injured in the accident and taken to hospital.
An Australian Transport Safety Bureau spokeswoman confirmed the plane, a single-engine Cessna 172, hit a powerline and burst into flames on impact.
Police would not release names of the killed or injured men.
